AVImark runs locally on your practice network rather than in a browser, so exports come off your own machine and nothing needs to be requested from a vendor. The inventory picture is split across a couple of places: your current stock lives with the inventory list, and what you actually sold lives in the reporting area.
What you actually need
Four columns. Everything else in the report is optional, so do not spend time tidying the rest.
Item name
exactly as your system writes it
Quantity on hand
current units in stock
Unit cost
what you pay your distributor, not the client price
Units sold, one file per month
twelve separate monthly reports, not one twelve-month total
Two optional columns worth grabbing
If AVImark offers these, leave them in. They cost nothing at export time and they let StockSolve compare what an item should have earned against what it actually booked, which is what separates a vaccine bundled into a wellness plan from a charge that was simply missed. Nothing to map: if the columns are in the file, the engine finds them.
Unit price
the client-facing sell price. Often called Price, Retail, Sell or Charge
Sales revenue
what the item actually booked. Often called Revenue, Extended, Sales or Amount
Which reports to look for in AVImark
Report names shift between versions, so go by what the report contains rather than by an exact menu label. You are looking for two things:
1A current stock or inventory list view that shows quantity on hand and cost for each item. AVImark maintains on-hand quantity and average cost information on the inventory item itself, updated as purchase orders are received.
2The Inventory Used report, which AVImark can run for a selected period, for units moved per item.
Things that trip people up on AVImark
Export happens from the report PREVIEW screen, not the setup screen. Run the report first, then export from the preview to Microsoft Excel.
If a report will not give you the columns you need, AVImark Information Search is the general-purpose way to build a query and export the result to a spreadsheet.
On-hand quantity and average cost only stay accurate if purchase orders are actually received into AVImark. Receiving a PO updates on-hand quantity, purchase history and average cost together, so a clinic that orders outside the system will show drifting counts.
Item names frequently carry internal codes or abbreviations. That is fine, StockSolve matches on the name exactly as your system writes it, so do not clean them up by hand.
